Owen Farrell is a jack of all trades after the England legend took on lineout duties during the later stages of Saracens’ 30-7 victory over Gloucester.<\/p>\n

The Saracens outside-half was forced to briefly step in for hooker Theo Dan who got sent to the sin bin for a high tackle. Farrell took on lineout duties and delivered a series of pinpoint accurate throws.<\/p>\n

In the 80th minute Farrell threw the ball to the back of the lineout with pinpoint accuracy as if he was Jamie George in his prime.<\/p>\n

“That is a properly good throw,” said former England prop David Flatman in commentary for TNT Sports.<\/p>\n

“Well he’s a finisher isn’t he,” replied the lead commentator Alastair Eykyn.<\/p>\n

This was in contrast to England backrower Henry Pollock’s emergency lineout throw which went wildly off target<\/a> during Northampton Saints’ defeat to Leicester Tigers at Welford Road last weekend.<\/p>\n

During Pollock’s attempt last week fans booed and jeered every time his darts did not hit its mark.<\/p>\n

His first attempt went long and loose, while his second throw to the front of the line-out was adjudged not straight by referee Matthew Carley.<\/p>\n

Farrell’s impressive impersonation of a hooker quickly went viral with Saracens’ official Instagram account using it to stoke up banter with Pollock.<\/p>\n

“Someone send this to Pollock,” read the Saracens post.<\/p>\n

Saracens supporters took to social media to show their appreciation of Farrell’s cameo at the lineout.<\/p>\n

“Love this! Impressive skills,” wrote one supporter while another said “my goat for a reason.”<\/p>\n

“Owen Farrell casually throwing technically perfect darts into the lineout. Some player,” added a third.<\/p>\n

Team-mate Ben Earl spoke to TNT postmatch about Farrell’s ability at hooker.<\/p>\n

“He’s a quick learner!
