Danny Rohl will jump at the chance to leave Rangers <\/a>this summer if an opportunity presents itself.<\/p>\n That’s according to Celtic hero Chris Sutton<\/a>, who believes that the German boss is not the same man who walked into the hot seat at Ibrox back in October.<\/p>\n Rohl has been given a vote of confidence by Gers chairman Andrew Cavenagh<\/a>, but four defeats in their last five Premiership matches saw the Light Blues fall away from the title race to finish 10 points behind champions Celtic and eight behind runners’ up Hearts.<\/p>\n Large numbers of fans are calling for the ex Sheffield Wednesday manager to be shown the door and Rohl<\/a> has also came under fire for his handling of James Tavernier’s exit after 11 years in Govan.<\/p>\n The 37-year-old has been linked with recently relegated Bundesliga side Wolfsburg and Record Sport<\/strong> columnist Sutton is in no doubt that Rohl could walk away this summer if another club came knocking.<\/p>\n Speaking on The Warm-Up with Kris Boyd and Steven Naismith<\/a>, he said: “I think a lot of the Rangers support won’t like Danny Rohl for the James Tavernier situation.<\/p>\n “He’s been linked with Wolfsburg and it wouldn’t surprise me (if that happens). With every passing interview, he’s not the same confident, swaggering Danny Rohl.<\/p>\n “I think if he got the opportunity to leave, he would and maybe Rangers have to make a decision on him anyway.<\/p>\n “Fans always like managers who have that identity or connection with the club and what with Derek (McInnes) has achieved, that would be a logical process and appointment if Rangers did part company with Danny Rohl.”<\/p>\n Ibrox legend Boyd has urged his old team to make a fresh play for Derek McInnes and hopes that the Jambos boss could bring talisman skipper Lawrence Shankland with him.<\/p>\n Boyd added: “If it’s me, I would go straight to Hearts and get Derek McInnes in that door. I’d also bring Lawrence Shankland with him.<\/p>\n Lawrence Shankland and Hearts boss Derek McInnes<\/p>\n “Rangers need to get back to winning domestically because it’s been embarrassing for a number of years. They need to get players that know how to win games of football in Scotland.<\/p>\n “Derek has been able to mould a team at Hearts, and he did it at Aberdeen as well, that can go ‘let’s just win a game’. It doesn’t need to be pretty, you just need to find a way to get over the line.<\/p>\n “And for me, Rangers have to click to win a game of football.
