A mum-of-three who died in a two-car crash has been described as ‘the best sister anyone could ask for’.<\/p>\n

Jamie-Leigh May, 26, was killed when a vehicle she was a passenger in crashed as it crossed a canal bridge on Bodymoor Heath Road, Sutton Coldfield<\/a>, around 6.45pm on Sunday (May 4).<\/p>\n

Today, her grieving sister Jess paid tribute to her ‘big, beautiful presence’ and how much she would ‘would miss her’.<\/p>\n

Paying tribute, she said: \u201cHow do you even begin to describe someone like Jaimie-Leigh?<\/p>\n

“You don\u2019t. You feel her in every memory, every laugh, every chaotic but beautiful moment she gave us.<\/p>\n

\u201cJlo wasn\u2019t just a person. She was a vibe. A walking firework.<\/p>\n

“A one-woman festival of joy, sass, stubbornness, and the kind of love that wrapped around you whether you wanted it or not.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt just 26, Jaimie-Leigh managed to leave a mark on this world bigger than most could in a hundred years.<\/p>\n

“She was loud. She was proud. She was unapologetically her. She could drive you up the wall and have you in stitches all in the same breath \u2013 usually by saying something outrageously thick without realising it.<\/p>\n

“But that was her charm. That was our Jlo.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo me, she wasn\u2019t just my sister. She was my best mate. My partner in crime. My rave partner. My soulmate.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy shoulder to cry on & the one person I made sure it was my job to terrorise on a daily basis. We danced through life together \u2013 literally.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom sweaty warehouse raves to sunrise sets in Ibiza, dancing the night away to Josh Baker, from giggly Amsterdam nights to mornings spent dragging ourselves back to life over greasy breakfasts and regrettable voice notes.<\/p>\n

“We made memories that were as messy as they were magical, and I\u2019d do it all again in a heartbeat.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she wasn\u2019t just about the fun \u2013 though she brought plenty of that.<\/p>\n

“This past year, Jlo was smashing life. She passed her driving test (she was still terrible at parking), started a new job she was buzzing about, and jetted off to explore the world like she always said she would. She was unstoppable \u2013 a storm of ambition, beauty, banter, and sheer determination.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut more than anything, Jaimie-Leigh was a mum. The mum. She adored her three beautiful children with every ounce of her heart.<\/p>\n

“She was fierce, funny, soft, and strong all at once. They were her world, and she gave them everything \u2013 and then some.<\/p>\n

“She was also the best sister anyone could ask for. Loud when you needed quiet.<\/p>\n

“Quiet when you needed loud. A bit bossy, a bit barmy, but always, always in your corner.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe had this incredible mix of chaos and kindness. She could be wildly inappropriate, stubborn as hell, and completely oblivious to the fact that her \u201ccommon sense\u201d wasn\u2019t always so common \u2013 and we loved her even more for it.<\/p>\n

“Jlo didn\u2019t try to be anyone else. She showed up as her, every damn day. That\u2019s what made her unforgettable.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy heart is shattered in places I didn\u2019t know could break. I miss her laugh. I miss her face. I miss her constant ringing, even when she had nothing to say.<\/p>\n

“I miss the way she filled every silence and every space with her big, beautiful presence. But I know she\u2019s up there now \u2013 probably still too loud, probably still too much \u2013 dancing in the clouds with Dad, Tyler, and all our loved ones, lighting up heaven like she lit up our lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cSleep peacefully, my girl. You\u2019ll always be the light in our darkest days, the beat in every bass drop, and the echo in every laugh. I\u2019ll carry you with me forever \u2013 until we rave again. Like Marnz said \u201cI promise I\u2019ll Ball 4 U and imma see you and the crossroads\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor now, we ask that you give us the time and space to grieve as a family \u2013 this is a heartbreak we\u2019ll carry for the rest of our lives. Thank you for your prayers, and for loving our Jlo the way she deserved to be loved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Four other occupants in the same car were treated for injuries that are not life-threatening. The occupants of the second car suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n

Warwickshire<\/a> Police are investigating and appeal to anyone with information to contact them.<\/p>\n
