Bond Wolfe has raised more than \u00a325m during its 50th auction since launching bidding room property sales in 2019.<\/p>\n

A total of 1,228 registered remote bidders resulted in 135 lots sold from 153 offered on 14 May, representing an industry leading 89% sold.<\/p>\n

In the run-up to the livestreamed auction, there were 1,233,448 website page views, with 98,542 video tours watched and 37,024 legal packs downloaded.<\/p>\n

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, explained how the \u00a325,046,850 raised in the firm\u2019s third auction of the year meant sales already totalled more than \u00a375m in 2026, and well in excess of \u00a31.1bn across its first 50 auctions.<\/p>\n

Bassi said: \u201cGlobal uncertainties may have stagnated many parts of the economy, but our results once again show the continued strength of the market\u2019s confidence in bricks and mortar.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe achieved some great results for our sellers and are now looking forward to another busy auction in July.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the highlights of the auction were two properties that raised nearly three times their guide prices after fiercely competitive bidding.<\/p>\n

This included a three-bedroom, semi-detached house at 23 Westbourne Road in Olton, Solihull which sold for \u00a3445,000 from a guide price of \u00a3150,000+.<\/p>\n

And a three-bedroom, semi-detached house at 66 Tanworth Lane in Shirley sold for \u00a3277,000 from a guide price of \u00a395,000+.<\/p>\n

A particularly interesting lot saw two bidders battle it out to generate a sale of \u00a3143,000 for the former manor house called Everthorpe Hall up in Brough, North Humberside, recently part of a prison, which has a guide price of \u00a355,000+.<\/p>\n

Back in the Midlands, a freehold, four-storey block of 44 self-contained flats at Wollaston Court on Lower Rushall Street in Walsall sold prior to the auction for \u00a32.5m from a guide price of \u00a31.65m+.<\/p>\n

There was also a clutch of successful land sales for Birmingham City Council and Wolverhampton Council, including \u00a373,000 raised for a 580 square metre urban site at the rear of 49\/51 Hazeldene Road in Sheldon, and \u00a390,000 for 11.5 rural acres north of Turls Hill Road, in Coseley, Wolverhampton. These lots both had guide prices of \u00a350,000+.<\/p>\n
