Sean Tully<\/a> (Antony Cotton<\/a>) finds himself in desperate straits in Coronation Street<\/a> soon as he tries to protect his son Dylan (Liam McCheyne). How low will Sean have to go to keep Dylan safe? The answer is quite shocking.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dylan is currently in a secure training centre because of his involvement in the death of Mason Radcliffe<\/a> (Luca Toolan), who was stabbed with Dylan\u2019s knife.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dylan started carrying the knife to protect himself. When he got into a confrontation with Matty and Logan Radcliffe (Seamus McGoff and Harry Lowbridge), their brother Mason tried to defend him, but they turned on him and stabbed him with Dylan\u2019s knife.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In court In court, Dylan insisted that he only meant to scare Mason\u2019s brothers with the knife, but the judge responded by saying he should be up for the more serious crime of making threats with a knife. He was ultimately given a custodial sentence<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Inside the STC he was quickly befriended by one of his fellow prisoners, Brody (Ryan Mulvey). Brody has spotted that Dylan was naive and vulnerable and was intent on using him for his own benefit. <\/p>\n

He set about manipulating both Dylan and Sean, asking Sean to smuggle a burner phone into the prison<\/a> and making it clear that Dylan would be harmed if he didn\u2019t agree.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

There\u2019s more of this to come, when Brody finds a list of Dylan\u2019s contacts and calls Sean, telling him he has another job for him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Terrified about what could happen to Dylan if he doesn\u2019t comply, Sean asks Glenda (Jodie Prenger) if she can lend him \u00a3500. Glenda can\u2019t help, and wonders whether Sean is in some kind of trouble. <\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t tell her what\u2019s going on, but privately he\u2019s becoming more and more desperate as Brody is insisting on having the cash by the end of the day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

George (Tony Maudsley) and Eileen (Sue Cleaver) then make a shocking discovery. A collection jar at the factory, which has been put there to raise funds for Eileen\u2019s terminally ill sister Julie <\/a>(Katy Cavanagh), is absolutely empty. <\/p>\n

George mentions that Sean was asking Glenda for a large sum of money earlier, but they can\u2019t believe that Sean has stooped so low as to steal money from a dying woman, someone who was supposed to be his friend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It seems that that\u2019s exactly what Sean\u2019s done, though, as we see him texting Brody to let him know that he\u2019s got the cash and he\u2019s heading for the meeting point as arranged.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Has he really stolen Julie\u2019s money?\u00a0<\/p>\n
