First of\u00a0all, I\u00a0would like to\u00a0express my\u00a0sincere gratitude to\u00a0our dear friend, President of\u00a0the\u00a0People\u2019s Republic of\u00a0China Xi Jinping, and\u00a0all our Chinese colleagues for\u00a0the\u00a0warm and\u00a0cordial
\nwelcome extended to\u00a0the\u00a0Russian delegation.<\/p>\n
This official visit is taking place in\u00a0an\u00a0anniversary year for\u00a0Russian-Chinese relations: 25 years ago, we signed a\u00a0vital
\ninterstate treaty of\u00a0good-neighbourliness, friendship and\u00a0cooperation, which
\nprovided a\u00a0solid foundation for\u00a0the\u00a0all-round development of\u00a0comprehensive
\npartnership and\u00a0strategic interaction between our two countries.<\/p>\n
Russia-China relations have reached a\u00a0truly
\nunprecedented level and\u00a0continue to\u00a0develop. At\u00a0the\u00a0same time, our relations
\nare self-sufficient, do not depend on\u00a0the\u00a0current international situation, and\u00a0can serve as\u00a0an\u00a0example of\u00a0relations between nations in\u00a0this age.<\/p>\n
Regarding our talks today, they were held in\u00a0a\u00a0traditionally warm, comradely and\u00a0constructive atmosphere. We held in-depth
\ndiscussions on\u00a0all key aspects of\u00a0our bilateral cooperation. The\u00a0joint
\nstatement we have signed following these talks outlines the\u00a0priority spheres of\u00a0our interaction. <\/p>\n
We have signed a\u00a0large package, or\u00a0more
\nprecisely about 40 intergovernmental, interagency and\u00a0corporate documents. Some of\u00a0them have been signed here.
\nMany of\u00a0these focus on\u00a0the\u00a0further deepening of\u00a0our economic cooperation.<\/p>\n
I\u00a0would like to\u00a0emphasise that Russia and\u00a0China
\nare important trade partners for\u00a0each other. In\u00a02025, our trade reached nearly US$240
\nbillion, and\u00a0its structure has expanded, including due to\u00a0high added-value
\ngoods. <\/p>\n
Modern enterprises in\u00a0both Russia and\u00a0China
\nhave greatly contributed to\u00a0the\u00a0growth of\u00a0mutual trade. Our coordinated actions
\nto\u00a0transition settlements between them, as\u00a0well as\u00a0between our countries in\u00a0general, to\u00a0payments in\u00a0national currencies have been of\u00a0great importance in\u00a0this regard. As\u00a0a\u00a0result, nearly all Russia-China export-import transactions are made in\u00a0rubles and\u00a0yuan. In\u00a0other words,
\nwe have actually created a\u00a0stable system of\u00a0mutual trade that is protected from
\nexternal influence and\u00a0negative trends in\u00a0the\u00a0global markets.<\/p>\n
I\u00a0would like to\u00a0point out that Russia and\u00a0China
\nare actively cooperating in\u00a0the\u00a0sphere of\u00a0energy. Our country is one of\u00a0the\u00a0largest exporters of\u00a0oil, natural gas (including LNG) and\u00a0coal to\u00a0China. We are
\ndefinitely ready to\u00a0continue to\u00a0ensure reliable and\u00a0uninterrupted supplies of\u00a0these types of\u00a0fuel to\u00a0the\u00a0rapidly growing Chinese market.<\/p>\n
