Meanwhile, the complete FSD (Supervised) pack, which allows for hands-free driving from point A to point B under the driver\u2019s supervision, is available in just two European countries.<\/p>\n<p> <a class=\"lightzoom\" href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/tesla-fsd-subscription-uk.jpg\"> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/tesla-fsd-subscription-uk.jpg\" alt=\"Tesla FSD (Supervised) subscription price in the UK.\" width=\"2176\" height=\"1224\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> <\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Tesla FSD (Supervised) subscription price in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Photo by: Tesla<\/p>\n<p>Previously, customers could pay a one-time fee of \u20ac7,500 or \u00a36,800 if they wanted to buy the \u201cpotential for fully independent driving\u201d or \u201cFull Self-Driving Capability.\u201d Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tesla<\/a> is asking for \u20ac99 or \u00a399 per month, and has removed the option to pay a smaller fee that offered access to Enhanced Autopilot alone.<\/p>\n<p>Until yesterday, European buyers could spend \u20ac3,800 or \u00a33,400 to gain lifetime access to Enhanced Autopilot, which offered driver-supervised hands-free navigation on the highway, automatic lane changes, automatic overtaking, and the ability to summon the vehicle from the smartphone app without anyone sitting inside.<\/p>\n<p>Basic Autopilot, which enables the car to steer, accelerate, and brake automatically for other vehicles and pedestrians within its lane, was free before and remains free.<\/p>\n<p>So far, Tesla has gained regulatory approval for its FSD (Supervised) feature in <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/792715\/tesla-fsd-approved-the-netherlands\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22792715%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22tesla-fsd-approved-the-netherlands%22%7D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Netherlands<\/a> and Lithuania, leaving customers in all other European countries stuck with a subscription that doesn\u2019t offer everything that\u2019s written on the box. On its United Kingdom website, the company says that \u201cFull Self-Driving (Supervised) is not yet available but may be in the future. Its availability depends on development and regulatory approval.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, where FSD (Supervised) is live, the site claims that \u201cYour car will be able to drive almost anywhere with minimal driver intervention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/784386\/tesla-fsd-subscription-only-2026\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22784386%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22tesla-fsd-subscription-only-2026%22%7D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tesla made the same move in the United States<\/a>. It removed the option to buy FSD (Supervised) outright for $8,000 and instead introduced a $99 monthly subscription.<\/p>\n<p>Money-wise, this might seem annoying, but in the long term, it might actually make more sense. For \u20ac99 per month, it would take a little over six years to spend a total of \u20ac7,500, which is how much FSD used to cost to buy outright. Plus, owners can skip the subscription if they don\u2019t need its features and only pay for a month when they might need it.<\/p>\n<p>That said, all of this puts previous owners of Tesla EVs, who were promised a self-driving car for thousands of euros on top of the vehicle\u2019s price, in a weird spot.
