The life of a major Hollyoaks character could be on the line, as Tommy Odenkirk ramps up his sinister blackmail plot<\/a> next week.<\/p>\n

Jez Blake is pushed to murder, or else risk his serial killer identity being exposed \u2013 but will he take the life of another village resident?<\/p>\n

“Tommy puts more pressure than ever on Jez, who is horrified to discover that the incriminating recordings haven’t been deleted after all,” our insider begins. “With the walls rapidly closing in, who is in danger \u2013 Leela, Joel, or someone else?”<\/p>\n

Leela Dexter recently ended her relationship with Joel Dexter<\/a>, after finding out about his night with ex Cleo McQueen<\/a>. But Joel is hopeful about a potential reunion next week when they bond over baby Clara.<\/p>\n

Tommy will do anything to stop them getting back together, so he blackmails Jez into getting rid of Leela for good<\/a>. Jez doesn’t believe that Tommy will follow through on his threat, but soon changes his mind when Tommy mentions his alter ego, The Reaper.<\/p>\n

Later, Joel finds Jez snooping at Tommy’s flat, where he is currently staying. He explains about Tommy’s deception, and his attempts to ruin his life and his relationship.<\/p>\n

Jez has some bombshells of his own, revealing that Tommy leaked the intimate video of Leela online<\/a>, and that he knows Joel was responsible for Billy’s death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“This chat leaves Joel convinced that they have to go to the police about Tommy,” says our source. “But seeing as the footage of Jez confessing to a string of murders is true and hasn’t been manipulated, he is naturally keen to keep the cops at arm’s length.”<\/p>\n

Jez buys some time by inviting Joel out for a drink at The Loft. Joel is heartbroken and makes some bad decisions, and partying with Jez leads to him relapsing and taking drugs.<\/p>\n

Tommy refuses to give up and visits Jez at the club as his terrifying Reaper persona. He reminds him that he needs to kill Joel, or his deadly secrets will be made public.<\/p>\n

Leela finds Joel high outside the club, reminding her husband that she promised to end their relationship if he ever took drugs again. But Joel doesn’t realise the danger he is in, as Jez prepares to kill him\u2026<\/p>\n

The next day, Marie Fielding tells Leela that Joel deserves their support and that they can’t abandon him in his time of need, even if they don’t approve of his relapse.<\/p>\n

As Marie and Leela set off to look for Joel, is he still alive, or has Jez completed his murderous task?<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks<\/strong> airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/strong><\/p>\n
