Sheffield’s Meadowhall Shopping Centre<\/p>\n
Meadowhall will soon say goodbye to a big name fashion store at the Sheffield shopping centre.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll see Quiz close at Meadowhall<\/a> in the coming weeks. We\u2019ve previously brought you details<\/a> of the clothing giant having a closing down sale at the shopping centre.<\/p>\n Retailer Quiz has experienced a number of challenges in recent months. It is understood its 37 branches will close, for good, by the end of June.<\/p>\n Quiz hired administrators from advisory firm Interpath in February after a \u2018tough start\u2019 to 2026. Alistair McAlinden, head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator, said: \u201cAs we head into the May bank holiday weekend, we would encourage shoppers to visit their local store as we commence our final closing down sale.\u201d<\/p>\n Geoff Jacobs, managing director at Interpath and fellow joint administrator, said: \u201cWe\u2019d once again like to say a huge thank you to Quiz staff who have shown such dedication and professionalism under difficult circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n As always, we’ll keep you posted on new openings and closures at Meadowhall and across Sheffield<\/a>.<\/p>\n You can find the latest shopping news in Yorkshire<\/a> and nearby by visiting our What’s On homepage<\/a>.
