In case there weren\u2019t enough players in Coronation Street\u2019s whodunnit already, Ryan Connor<\/a>\u00a0(Ryan Prescott<\/a>)\u00a0will reveal a shocking clue about a brand new suspect in Theo Silverton<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0(James Cartwright<\/a>) murder.<\/p>\n

The hunt is on as the police investigate the death<\/a> of one of Coronation Street\u2019s most horrific villains in recent memory.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a juicy whodunnit jam-packed with suspects who all have a good motive for wanting to see the monster driven off the Cobbles in a hearse. <\/p>\n

At the top of the list is Theo\u2019s long suffering husband and victim,\u00a0Todd Grimshaw<\/a>\u00a0(Gareth Pierce<\/a>), who endured appalling physical and emotional abuse at the hands of the hands of his tormentor for almost a year.<\/p>\n

Todd\u2019s friend and father figure \u00a0George Shuttleworth<\/a>\u00a0(Tony Maudsley<\/a>) also had a score to settle with Theo, because he was first to recognise the signs of abuse in their toxic relationship, along with his supportive partner, Christina Boyd<\/a>\u00a0(Amy Robbins<\/a>)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The police investigation has been focused on Theo\u2019s ex-bestie Gary Windass<\/a>\u00a0(Mikey North<\/a>), who\u2019s got previous for putting bad guys six feet under. <\/a> Not to mention Summer Spellman<\/a>\u00a0(Harriet Bibby<\/a>)<\/a>, who swore vengeance against Theo<\/a> for leaving her stepfather Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) to perish in a fiery mini-bush crash.<\/p>\n

Finally, there\u2019s Theo\u2019s scorned ex-wife, Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson). Theo walked away from Danielle and their two children to be with Todd. <\/p>\n

Now she\u2019s set to return to the Cobbles<\/a> in time for her not-so-dearly departed ex-hubby\u2019s funeral, where she will drop one serious bombshell on Todd.<\/a><\/p>\n

So how does Ryan Connor fit into all of this murderous mayhem?<\/p>\n

The cheeky chappy manager of the Chariot Square Hotel is no stranger to drama himself. He was swapped at birth, dealt with substance abuse issues and was injured in a severe acid attack<\/a>, which was\u00a0meant for Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan)<\/a>\u00a0at the hands of her obsessive stalker.<\/p>\n

In the devastating aftermath of the attack, Ryan\u2019s desperate attempts to regain confidence and control\u00a0led to steroid abuse<\/a>\u00a0and sex-work,\u00a0posting explicit content to strangers<\/a>. After a long road to recovery, he\u2019s finally in a better place in his life.<\/p>\n

Recently Ryan\u2019s been preoccupied with protecting his friend and employer Debbie Webster<\/a> \u00a0(Sue Devaney<\/a>) from being conned out of her beloved Chariot Square hotel by her no-good son Carl<\/a>(Jonathan Howard<\/a>).<\/p>\n

However, upcoming scenes of Coronation Street will see the happy-go-lucky lad embroiled in the murder drama when he reveals that he saw one suspect at the scene of the crime on that fateful night when Theo died.<\/p>\n

After Christina\u2019s lie to the police forced George to implicate Summer<\/a>, relations are strained with Todd, who refuses to attend Theo\u2019s funeral.<\/p>\n

To Todd\u2019s horror, Danielle shows up and publicly accuses him in front of his friends of murdering Theo for his life insurance money.<\/p>\n

When Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) comes to Todd\u2019s defence and suggests she perhaps murdered Theo herself, Danielle storms out angrily.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Ryan follows Danielle out and plays his trump card. He recognises her from the night of the murder!<\/p>\n
