At present, producers are already able to sell last year\u2019s carrots at UAH 17\u201325\/kg ($0.38\u20130.56\/kg)<\/strong>, which is on average 27% higher than at the end of the previous working week. For comparison, just a week ago prices in this segment did not exceed UAH 20\/kg ($0.45\/kg).<\/p>\n According to farmers, trading activity in the root vegetable market in Ukraine has slightly intensified. Against the backdrop of seasonal stock reductions in local farms, this has resulted in a shortage of high-quality carrots on the market.
