2<\/p>\n Susan Boyle has announced her comeback.Credit: Getty 2<\/p>\n She shot to fame 16 years ago.Credit: Instagram\/agt<\/p>\n She looked ecstatic as she lifted the lid on her long-awaited return and teased new material.<\/p>\n The singer, who shot to fame on the reality TV series in 2009, told fans: “Today\u2019s a special day \u2014 it\u2019s my birthday! <\/p>\n “But I\u2019ve got something exciting to share\u2026 I\u2019m back and working on some wonderful new projects that I can\u2019t wait for you to hear about.<\/p>\n “More news will be coming very soon, but I just wanted to say how much\u00a0I\u2019ve missed you all. <\/p>\n “Your support means the world to me and I\u2019m more determined and excited than ever.”<\/p>\n The West Lothian-born star went on to sell more than 25 million albums worldwide and hit the headlines as one of TV’s\u00a0biggest ever<\/a>\u00a0success stories.<\/a><\/p>\n Despite her fame and fortune, Susan stayed close to her roots and still lives in the same Blackburn ex-council house from childhood.<\/p>\n She briefly left for a posh mansion but found herself returning to her humble abode.<\/p>\n But she suffered a debilitating stroke<\/a> three years ago and has been recovering ever since. <\/p>\n She had to take up\u00a0singing<\/a>\u00a0lessons to help her return to form with the expectation that 2025 will be a huge year.<\/p>\n Susan Boyle makes surprise appearance at Britain’s Got Talent final, before revealing she had a stroke in 2022<\/p>\n The singer is due to\u00a0star<\/a>\u00a0in a\u00a0documentary<\/a> as a sequel to the 2011 instalment Susan Boyle: An Unlikely Superstar.<\/p>\n Susan also said she is due to appear in a cameo role in a new Rupert Everett movie due out\u00a0this year which she says she also has recorded a song for.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SUSAN Boyle has announced her ultimate birthday gift – a shock music comeback.
