Emergency services were called to Hatton Garden in Liverpool city centre at around 4.30pm today, May 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Police said the crash involved a Mercedes and a female pedestrian. The driver stopped at the scene. The pedestrian was taken to hospital for assessment of her injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Arriva North West informed its customers a diversion would be put in place as a result of the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In a statement, the bus company said: &#8220;Due to an incident at Hatton Garden services 54, 56 and 58A are diverted via Byrom St and Leeds Street out of city centre.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The road was reopened a short time later. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: &#8220;We were called to Hatton Garden, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-city-centre\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool city centre<\/a> at around 4.30pm today (Tuesday 13 May) to reports of a collision involving a Mercedes and a female pedestrian.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The pedestrian was taken to hospital for assessment of injuries. The driver stopped at the scene.
