{"id":991337,"date":"2026-05-29T02:14:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T02:14:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/991337\/"},"modified":"2026-05-29T02:14:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T02:14:21","slug":"new-england-and-wales-basc-council-members-announced-at-agm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/991337\/","title":{"rendered":"New England and Wales BASC Council members announced at AGM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Members have elected two new representatives to the BASC Council, following voting for seats in England and Wales.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The results of the 2026 BASC Council elections were announced at the association\u2019s AGM, held earlier today at Marford Mill near Wrexham.<\/p>\n<p>Will Wilkinson was elected to represent England, while Tomos Davies was elected to represent Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Will Wilkinson said: \u201cI\u2019m honoured people voted for me, and I hope I can justify the trust they\u2019ve placed in me. I\u2019ll now get up to speed with everything at BASC and help show that we can represent everyone involved in field sports. I also want to ensure the association continues to make evidence-based decisions built on sound principles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tomos Davies said: \u201cI\u2019m absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to serve and represent BASC Wales members on Council. The work BASC does is hugely important, and this will be a crucial year for the association.
