Cash, however, waved her through and even scooped her into his arms.<\/p>\n<p>He continued performing whilst carrying her before setting her back down on stage. Another questioned online: &#8220;Huh, what was that fan going on stage part of the act?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On Instagram, someone else wondered: &#8220;Was the stage invader towards the end legit or staged?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another replied: &#8220;Staged. I thought it wasn\u2019t for a second tbh,&#8221; while someone else added: &#8220;so that girl running up stage wasn\u2019t real??? #estonia<strong\/>\u00a0<strong\/>#eurovision<strong\/> pls im so lost.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bad vocals from tommy the stage invader got me i feel like estonia could&#8217;ve done more with this i don&#8217;t see this getting as much points from the televote as i used to <strong\/>#Eurovision<strong\/> #Eurovision2025 #ESC2025,&#8221; another shared.<\/p>\n<p>Someone else remarked: &#8220;I&#8217;m personally not a huge fan of Estonia&#8217;s song, but I have to admit that the fake stage invader part of the performance was quite clever. <strong\/>#Eurovision.&#8221; (sic)<\/p>\n<p>The confusion added to the already significant attention surrounding Estonia&#8217;s entry.<\/p>\n<p>Cash&#8217;s Espresso Macchiato has been one of this year&#8217;s most controversial Eurovision entries, featuring a feigned Italian accent and lyrics some consider offensive to Italian culture.<\/p>\n<p>The song has sparked significant backlash in Italy, with Senate Vice-President Gian Marco Centinaio publicly voicing his disapproval.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He should come to Italy and see how decent people really work before daring to write such a stupid and stereotypical song,&#8221; Centinaio stated on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"9eb1a\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"c1ca0b5236c315d1b59a1e029843c4d8\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%205786%203857'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/tommy-cash.jpg\" width=\"5786\" height=\"3857\" alt=\"Tommy Cash\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Eurovision &#8216;stage invader&#8217; seemed to be part of Estonia&#8217;s act<\/p>\n<p>Getty<\/p>\n<p>Italian consumer protection association CODACONS has even appealed to the European Broadcasting Union for the song&#8217;s disqualification.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the controversy, Cash has previously addressed accusations of mocking Eurovision.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She told me that half of the fanbase loved me and the other half couldn&#8217;t stomach me, because they feel I&#8217;m mocking Eurovision and just treating it as some big joke,&#8221; he told the BBC.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s just not entirely true. If this were all some big joke for me, I wouldn&#8217;t be putting all this work into it.
