Queen Camilla was spotted wearing a coat that was once gifted to King Charles 27 years earlier. The 77-year-old, who has been married to the King since 2005, was pictured alongside her husband at Horse Guards\u2019 Parade<\/a> for a concert marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day last Thursday.<\/p>\n

The royal couple, who were also joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales<\/a>, were treated to performances from artists such as The Darkness and Freya Riding. Prince William<\/a> and Princess Kate’s three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven-year-old Prince Louis – did not join their family.<\/p>\n

With the King donning a pinstripe suit, the Queen<\/a> once again wore her husband\u2019s daglah.<\/p>\n

The traditional Saudi Arabian collarless coat was previously given to the monarch during a state visit in 1998.<\/p>\n

Complete with exquisite silver embroidery, the black garment was given to Charles, who was still the Prince of Wales at the time, by local designer Yahya Al-Bishri.<\/p>\n

In the decades since the King was given the stunning piece, Queen Camilla has had the daglah tailored to fit her.<\/p>\n

She first debuted the coat herself during an engagement at RAF Cranwell in 2008.<\/p>\n

Camilla then sported it at Royal Tattoo at Windsor Castle two years later – and, most recently, wore it during an appearance during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.<\/p>\n

Previously speaking to Arab News, said: “As a Saudi fashion designer, I am so proud and happy that international media focused on my design, talked about the outfit and appreciated what the Duchess of Cornwall was wearing.<\/p>\n
