He may be turning 21 in a few weeks, but Junior Andre<\/a> speaks with the wisdom and gravitas of someone beyond his years. The singer, and son of new columnist Peter<\/a> and former model Katie Price<\/a>, chats to us from his West Sussex home alongside his model girlfriend, Jasmine Orr, 25.<\/p>\n On the agenda is their relationship, moving in together and their careers. What\u2019s Junior like as a boyfriend, Jasmine?<\/strong><\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> The best \u2013 not to make his head any bigger! He\u2019s respectful, down to earth, always there for me. He knows how to support me and listens.<\/p>\n What does Jasmine mean to you, Junior?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> I tell her every day she\u2019s beautiful. She\u2019s the best and I appreciate her. I feel like growing up, the life that I\u2019ve had, it\u2019s been really hard to trust people and know people\u2019s real intentions and fully open my heart and be me. Jasmine allows me to do that. She loves me for me.<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> That is cute!<\/p>\n Since moving in together, have you discovered any annoying habits?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> I\u2019m the annoying habit!<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> Because it\u2019s the first time for Junior living with a partner and living independently, there\u2019s a few things he\u2019s not the best at, but it\u2019s all about learning.<\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> It\u2019s mad everything you have to do when you move out. You take for granted what your parents do for you. It comes more naturally to Jasmine.<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> I noticed that you opened the dishwasher yesterday, saw it was clean\u2026and closed it.<\/p>\n What\u2019s your relationship like with Junior\u2019s family, Jasmine?<\/strong><\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> Recently we\u2019ve really bonded and I love them all. Before I met them for first time I was nervous, but when I walked in it was just so calm and full of love. They always put me at ease.<\/p>\n How did you find hosting the UK Top Influencer Awards together?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> I really enjoyed it. I love being on stage. I\u2019m used to it in terms of music and it felt natural to me. I was more confident and nonchalant about it.<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> He\u2019s very chill, which is lovely because it feels like he\u2019s the calm to my storm. I can get stressed easily. But the night was amazing.<\/p>\n Would you do something like that again?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> I want to do more presenting stuff definitely.<\/p>\n On TV? We could see you on Love Island<\/a> presenting\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> That would be so fun.<\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> We\u2019re open to discussions!<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> Something like Aftersun would be really fun.<\/p>\n Where do you see yourself in five years?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> I\u2019d like to think I\u2019d be financially stable. I\u2019d be a proper music artist that is respected in the industry. I\u2019d like to do more with mental health awareness \u2013 particularly men\u2019s mental health. I feel like a lot of men don\u2019t speak up enough. And definitely more TV and presenting.<\/p>\n Have you ever struggled with your own mental health?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> Growing up is hard \u2013 and the life I\u2019ve grown up in. I\u2019m very open and can talk about my feelings. I\u2019m very in touch with my emotions and I think a lot of men aren\u2019t. What helps me is how in touch my dad was and is with talking about things. He\u2019s always telling me how much he loves me and we\u2019re a hugging family. That\u2019s made me be that way. It\u2019s really important to speak up.<\/p>\n What\u2019s the best advice your dad has ever given you?<\/strong><\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> They\u2019re both really good at advice.<\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> Always remain humble, grounded, be respectful and spread love and positivity.<\/p>\n What are your future plans as a couple?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> I get scared if I think about kids, marriage, because we\u2019re not there. There\u2019s so much more we want to do before we think about that stuff.<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> We\u2019re on the same page in that they\u2019re such big things. Having a child \u2013 that\u2019s a full human!<\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> We\u2019ll know when the time\u2019s right.<\/p>\n How about music? Is there more in the pipeline, Junior?<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> Oh yes! Music is my biggest passion. I can\u2019t wait \u2013 it\u2019s all I\u2019ve wanted to do.<\/p>\n Jasmine:<\/strong> He can do it all. He can rap, be vulnerable, do a ballad, a dance song. It\u2019s exciting.<\/p>\n We read that you worked on the London Underground to fund your music, Junior. Your family must be very proud of you\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior:<\/strong> My dad was brought up very strict, so regardless of anything, he says, \u201cYou\u2019ve got to work, son.\u201d As much as he\u2019s there for me, and my mum is there for me, I don\u2019t want handouts. I need to learn life the proper way. So when things got hard, instead of sitting there doing nothing, I was like, \u201cI need to do what I\u2019ve got to do.\u201d I threw myself in at the deep end, but I never gave up on my dream. It made me understand the value of money and grafting. People still say, \u201cYou\u2019ve never done a day\u2019s hard work in your life\u201d, and I\u2019m like, \u201cI have!\u201d<\/p>\n Like this story?
