Liverpool fan and UFC fighter Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett has called for Luis Enrique to leave Paris Saint-Germain and take charge at Anfield following the Reds’ dismissal of Arne Slot.<\/p>\n
The devoted Liverpool<\/a> fan delivered a damning assessment of the club’s choice to part company with the Dutch manager<\/a>. Pimblett described the decision to dismiss Slot<\/a> as “better late than never,” arguing Liverpool ought to have parted ways with the 47-year-old following the 4-1 home defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last November.<\/p>\n The Reds have been nowhere near the form that secured them the Premier League title during Slot’s debut campaign and have endured a dismal start to the current season.<\/p>\n Liverpool did demonstrate some resilience and secured Champions League qualification on the season’s final day, but the Anfield board felt performances hadn’t sufficiently improved, and Slot was relieved of his duties.<\/p>\n Speaking before the Champions League final, which PSG won, The Baddy expressed his views on Slot’s exit to CBS Sport: “It’s been a long time coming. Personally, myself, I think he should have been sacked when we got beat 4-1 at home by PSV Eindhoven.<\/p>\n “A team like Liverpool can’t be getting beat 4-1 at home to a Dutch side.
