The field will play for the $2 million purse with the winner taking home $300,000 for a victory.<\/p>\n
Charley Hull is the top-ranked player in the field at No. 7 as only five of the top 25 in the Rolex Rankings are competing. Hye Jin Choi, twin sisters Aki and Chizzy Iwai and Kupcho are the others who fit the bill.<\/p>\n
There are 23 LPGA rookies playing, meaning there\u2019s a big chance for a first-timer to jump up and make history. Brooke Biermann, Gianna Clemente, amateur Mia Hammond, Rachel Kuehn and Annabelle Pancake-Webb are the sponsor invites.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Women\u2019s Open is next week at famed Riviera. The KPMG Women\u2019s PGA Championship is at the end of the month at Hazeltine National.<\/p>\n
