That is because it doesn\u2019t enter the bloodstream like injections do.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018It\u2019s a mechanical molecule, so it\u2019s like we\u2019re inserting a stent, as opposed to a drug that is acting with the target, and also off the target.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">By binding to the mucous membrane lining of the duodenum &#8211;
