The numbers were shown in a Gamers Nexus interview with Intel\u2019s Tom Petersen and use MSI\u2019s upcoming Claw 8 EX AI+ as the test system.<\/p>\n<p>According to Intel\u2019s own data, the Arc G3 Extreme is <strong>44% faster on average<\/strong> than the Core Ultra 7 258V in 1080p High gaming<strong> with 2x upscaling enabled.<\/strong> The comparison uses Arc G3 Extreme at 35W sustained against Lunar Lake at 30W sustained. Intel is also comparing the new platform against AMD\u2019s Ryzen Z2 Extreme, which is expected to power the upcoming ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"mobx\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.videocardz.com\/1\/2026\/05\/ITNEL-AC-G3-2.jpg\" data-rel=\"postbox[233568]\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ITNEL-AC-G3-2-850x478.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\" class=\"aligncenter size-featured-image wp-image-233574\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"source-caption\">Source: Gamers Nexus\/Intel<\/p>\n<p>At 35W sustained, Intel claims the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is 42% faster on average than the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X with AMD Z2 Extreme. The test again uses 1080p High settings with 2x upscaling enabled in supported titles.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"mobx\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.videocardz.com\/1\/2026\/05\/ITNEL-AC-G3-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"postbox[233568]\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ITNEL-AC-G3-1-850x490.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"490\" class=\"size-featured-image wp-image-233573 aligncenter\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"source-caption\">Source: Gamers Nexus\/Intel<\/p>\n<p>Intel\u2019s chart shows gains across all tested games, although these are vendor-provided figures and not independent test results. Intel also showed a <strong>17W versus 35W comparison.<\/strong> In this scenario, the Arc G3 Extreme system at 17W is shown delivering similar average performance to the AMD Z2 Extreme system at 35W. Intel says this can improve frame pacing and shift more power toward the GPU. At 12W, <strong>Intel claims a 13% average FPS uplift with IBC enabled<\/strong>, while a separate 12W comparison shows Arc G3 Extreme 37% faster on average than AMD Z2 Extreme.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ITNEL-AC-G3-5-2000x1094.jpg\" alt=\"ITNEL AC G3 (5)\" class=\"vc-gallery-slide-img\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\u00d7<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ITNEL-AC-G3-5-2000x1094.jpg\" alt=\"ITNEL AC G3 (5)\" class=\"vc-gallery-fullscreen-img\"\/><\/p>\n<p>1 \/ 3<\/p>\n<p>\u2039\u203a<\/p>\n<p>Arc G3 Extreme is based on Panther Lake and uses Intel Arc B390 graphics with 12 Xe3 cores. Intel has already confirmed Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme as handheld-focused processors, with MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, <a href=\"https:\/\/videocardz.com\/newz\/acer-predator-atlas-8-unveiled-with-intel-arc-g3-chips-and-24gb-memory\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Acer Predator Atlas 8<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/videocardz.com\/newz\/onexplayer-3-gaming-handheld-to-feature-8-8-inch-oled-and-intel-arc-g3-extreme\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> ONEXPLAYER 3<\/a> among the first confirmed systems.
