Per the reporting, the elder Wirtz denied that any \u201ccommitment\u201d was in place: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p id=\"xnOeCH\">After it was reported that Bayern and Florian Wirtz have reached an agreement, Leverkusen bosses were very surprised and immediately confronted Hans Wirtz, the player\u2019s father and agent. He assured them during the conversation that he hadn\u2019t made a commitment to anyone and that he also willing to talk to other clubs.<\/p>\n<p id=\"V2q0wi\">Florian Wirtz and his parents flew to Manchester for a meeting with Pep Guardiola today. They returned to Germany this evening. Hans Wirtz did not want to comment.<\/p>\n<p id=\"obb8Fq\">FC Bayern remains optimistic about landing Wirtz, either this summer or in 2026. However, Wirtz\u2019s camp seems to be taking City seriously as an alternative. The player used his day off today for the trip to Manchester.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"YrPlBt\">Well&#8230;who knows?
