{"id":99736,"date":"2025-05-14T03:23:08","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T03:23:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/99736\/"},"modified":"2025-05-14T03:23:08","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T03:23:08","slug":"vital-energi-to-decarbonise-london-gatwick-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/99736\/","title":{"rendered":"Vital Energi to decarbonise London Gatwick Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitalenergi.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vital Energi<\/strong><\/a><strong> has signed a five-year contract with <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gatwickairport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>London Gatwick<\/strong><\/a><strong> to deliver key elements of the airport\u2019s \u00a3250 million decarbonisation programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The partnership will see Vital Energi eliminate natural gas use and decarbonise heat across 50 buildings, including the North and South terminals. The work supports London Gatwick\u2019s goal to achieve net zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the contract, Vital Energi will install low-carbon technologies such as heat pumps and upgrade heat infrastructure to improve energy efficiency and resilience.
