A man has been arrested<\/a> following an alleged disturbance at a Leith pub.<\/a><\/p>\n

Officers<\/a> were called to The Vine Bar after an incident involving a large group of people on Great Junction Street at around 3.55pm on Monday June 1.<\/p>\n

An eyewitness believed a wake was taking place at the bar at the time of the fracas.<\/p>\n

Around a dozen officers and eight police vehicles were spotted outside of the popular bar.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.55pm on Monday, 1 June, 2026 police received a report of a disturbance involving a large group of people in the Great Junction Street area of Leith.<\/p>\n
