Long-range strikes reached the Caspian Sea and several Russian regions overnight, targeting vessels and logistics nodes tied to military supply chains.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Caspian Sea region carried out strikes on a military ship and vessels involved in transporting military cargo from Iran.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Facebook about these actions and the operation’s context.

According to the head of state, Ukraine continues to implement far-reaching sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the Defense Forces carried out strikes on facilities in various regions of Russia that support the aggression.

This is again a facility in Kirov, from which components for the weapons Russia uses to strike our people are supplied. The distance from Ukraine’s state border is about 1,200 kilometers

Also, the Defense Forces struck the oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants storage in Rostov-on-Don.

We also have very good results from long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea region. Specifically, these are ships that were involved in transporting military cargo from Iran, and a military ship
