The peninsula, annexed by Moscow in 2014, is facing increasing Ukrainian aerial attacks.<\/p>\n<p>It has had to deal with rolling blackouts over the past week, and the Kremlin-backed authorities have asked the peninsula\u2019s inhabitants to limit their energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Kyiv\u2019s drone attacks have caused acute fuel shortages in several other parts of Russia, one of the world\u2019s biggest oil producers, with petrol shortages and rationing reported in some parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Putin acknowledged on Sunday \u200cthat fuel supply problems had created shortages in Russian regions, and said a \u200ctask \u200cforce \u2060was working on ensuring sufficient quantities \u2060were provided throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a meeting of \u200csenior officials on the situation with \u200cfuel distribution, he called \u2060for measures to \u2060ensure the farm sector had sufficient supplies, and \u200csaid a ban on \u2060diesel exports was \u2060under consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine used <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/world-news\/2026\/06\/27\/ukrainian-flamingos-strike-major-russian-missile-plant\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">home-made Flamingo missiles<\/a> on Friday night to strike a Russian military facility more than 300 miles behind the front line.<\/p>\n<p>The long-range missiles targeted the Titan-Barrikady research and production centre in the city of Volgograd.<\/p>\n<p>The Flamingo missile has a reported range of around 2,000 miles, which allows Kyiv to launch strikes deep inside Russian territory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Crimea on Friday declared an \u201cemergency situation\u201d amid power cuts and fuel shortages.
