The prosecutor general added that an investigation had been opened into the circumstances of her death.

The law enforcement authorities in Monaco had been searching for Ms. Berezovska, 39, in connection with the bomb attack and on suspicion of attempting to kill the Ukrainian businessman and his family.

Anastasiia Berezovska, a 39-year-old woman from Ukraine, had been named as a suspect in connection with a blast that wounded three people in Monaco this past week. Credit…Monaco Prosecutor, via Reuters

An intelligence officer and a former law enforcement official have been detained on suspicion of committing murder, the prosecutor’s office said.

An international search had been underway for Ms. Berezovska. She was suspected of attempting to kill the businessman, a woman and a child, after they walked home on June 29 from dinner at a seaside restaurant, Morgan Raymond, Monaco’s deputy prosecutor, said last week.

Ms. Berezovska was accused of attempted murder, placing an explosive device on a public road with criminal intent and criminal conspiracy, according to an Interpol notice. Mr. Raymond said that she had surveilled the victims’ residence for days before the attack, often disguised as a man, and then fled to Germany via France and Italy.

Five people were injured in the explosion, Mr. Raymond said, some seriously. The German authorities said in a statement that the attacks had targeted Ukrainian citizens.

Ukrainian investigators established that Ms. Berezovska had communicated with her family and two men after returning to Ukraine on July 1, the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office said.

Investigators were aware that both men had repeatedly transferred money to Ms. Berezovska through cryptocurrency and bank accounts, the prosecutor’s office said, and as a result the men had been under investigation as possible accomplices in the Monaco attack.

An investigation was carried out at the home of the law enforcement officer. An interview with the intelligence officer led the authorities to carry out a reconstruction of the crime scene, which helped them find Ms. Berezovska’s body, the prosecutor’s office said.

All information was being shared with the investigative authorities of Monaco, the prosecutor’s office said.

Two people suspected of helping Ms. Berezovska were briefly detained in Monaco but were released because no evidence that they were involved was discovered, Mr. Raymond said.

A woman suspected of a bomb attack on a businessman and his family in Monaco last week has…

[3
5208,26
post-14133","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-news","tag-monaco","tag-ukraine
["GET
