A single Russian missile has killed a family in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Russia fired the missile, manufactured by North Korea<\/a>, at the rural village of Radushne in the south-eastern Dnipropetrovsk region on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Danylo Voronov, a soldier on the front line, learned that the bodies of his parents, Olena Voronov and Artem Voronov, and four of his siblings were retrieved from the rubble of his house.<\/p>\n

Local authorities said they believed 10 members of the Voronov family had been sleeping in their beds when the home was struck, including three more of Danylo\u2019s siblings and his 18-month-old son.<\/p>\n

Their bodies have not yet been recovered. All four of the missing are feared dead.<\/p>\n

Locals rescued the family dog, Rocky, from the rubble alive after his tail was seen poking out of the debris.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelensky<\/a>, the Ukrainian president, who hails from the nearby city of Kryvyi Rih, said: \u201cThe impact of the Russian missile was so powerful that nothing remained of the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cFragments of human bodies were found beneath the rubble, and only forensic examinations can determine which family members the remains belong to.\u201d<\/p>\n

The North Korean<\/a> missile that hit Radushne is believed to be the first used in Ukraine since August last year.<\/p>\n

While Mr Zelensky did not identify the missile, Pyongyang has previously been accused of supplying Moscow with 148 KN-23 and KN-24 ballistic missiles, although instances of their use have dwindled in recent months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A single Russian missile has killed a family in Ukraine.
