Ukraine has launched hundreds of drones across Russia on Sunday, killing at least six people in one of Kyiv’s largest aerial attacks of the war.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a Russian missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih killed two people and wounded 14 others, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on social media on Sunday.<\/p>\n

He also said one more person had been killed in the city of Sumy.<\/p>\n

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said it had destroyed 822 Ukrainian <\/a>drones overnight.<\/p>\n

Around 600 drones were detected heading towards the Russian capital, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said, with a third destroyed over the Moscow region itself.<\/p>\n

An 83-year-old man was killed after a Ukrainian drone struck a private home in the Moscow region, local Governor Andrey Vorobyov said.<\/p>\n

He also confirmed that a Ukrainian attack had sparked a fire at a warehouse belonging to Russian retail giant Wildberries.<\/p>\n

Images shared by Russian media outlets from the town of Podolsk showed columns of black smoke rising from the site.<\/p>\n

Five people were also killed in Russia’s southwestern Rostov region, where three towns came under attack, local Governor Yury Slyusar said.<\/p>\n

This comes as a Russian attack on Kyiv sparked fires throughout the Ukrainian capital and injured six people.”Wherever the Russians can reach with their ballistic missiles, they strike civilian infrastructure,” Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n

“Since this morning, air raid alerts have continued in many regions \u2013 the Russians launched another wave of drones.”<\/p>\n
