In her\u00a0remarks,\u00a0Colin Lebedev will examine\u00a0how\u00a0more than 12 years of war\u2014and four since Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion of\u00a0Ukraine\u2014have changed\u00a0both countries\u2019\u00a0societies\u00a0and their relationship.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following the address, Ambassador John Tefft, the distinguished chair in diplomacy and security at RAND and a career U.S. Foreign Service officer who served as ambassador in both Ukraine and Russia, will join Colin Lebedev for a discussion moderated by Fiona Hill, senior fellow in the Center on the United States and Europe at Brookings. Suzanne Maloney, vice president and director of Foreign Policy at Brookings, and Agn\u00e8s von der M\u00fchll, the French deputy chief of mission to the United States, will provide welcoming remarks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Colin Lebedev\u00a0is a senior lecturer in political science and\u00a0researcher\u00a0at the Institute of Social Sciences and Politics at Paris Nanterre University\u00a0and an associate researcher at the Center for Russian, Caucasian, East European, and Central Asian Studies.
