The funding is intended to help maintain a stable supply of electricity and heat to the population amid Russian attacks.

This was reported by Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.

The funds will be allocated to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, established under the Energy Community. Since 2022, it has been financed by international partners to restore damaged energy facilities.

Germany remains the fund’s largest donor

Following the new contribution, Germany’s total assistance to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund will reach approximately 810 million euros.
