The broadcaster is delaying the selection from September 13 to September 26 due to the worsening security situation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The broadcaster explained in a statement that:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe format of the National Selection final has been adapted to take into account enhanced security measures for the participants and the team producing it. At the same time, the voting rules remain unchanged: the winner will be determined and announced based on the results of the jury and audience voting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Six acts are competing to represent Ukraine in Malta this October they are:<\/p>\n<p>Anastasiya Poshedina \u2013 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=CuoNuBye3m4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Krila<\/a>\u201d (Wings)<\/p>\n<p>Roman Doroshenko \u2013 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EJifLqHG9RA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Say Hello<\/a>\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Erika Kolesnichenko \u2013 \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yAhz7My4lak\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NE kolyskova<\/a>\u201d (NOT a lullaby)<\/p>\n<p>Dmytro Karabet \u2013 \u201cMamo\u201d (Mother)<\/p>\n<p>Marko Serdynskyi \u2013 \u201cGoris\u201d (Mountains)<\/p>\n<p>Zlata Solonenko \u2013 \u201cWho am I\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As in previous years, the winner of the selection will be determined by the votes of the jury (50%) and the audience (50%).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sofia Neresesian represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with \u201cMotanka\u201d. She won the public vote and finished second overall with 177 points. To date, Ukraine has only won the competition once. In 2012, Anastasiya Petryk won in Amsterdam with the song \u201cNebo\u201d. She scored 138 points, including eight sets of 12 points.
