President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said this at a briefing following talks with the US side, Rubryka reports.<\/p>\n

Zelenskyi noted that the national security advisers of the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, and Germany joined the Ukraine-US talks in Kyiv during the third round.<\/p>\n

According to the Ukrainian president, the location of the next meeting has not yet been determined.<\/p>\n

“We agreed that Ukraine, Europe, and America will meet in the near future. I don’t know where the meeting will take place \u2014 in Europe, in the United States, or perhaps again \u2014 as I understand it, Steve liked our train, so maybe again in Ukraine. In any case, we are open to any option.”<\/p>\n

As Rubryka previously reported, Zelenskyi announced the start of talks with Witkoff and Kushner. The Ukrainian president also said that Ukraine had prepared to receive Trump’s special envoys at the airport, but Russian strikes effectively prevented them from arriving by plane.<\/p>\n

In Kyiv, after another round of talks, Kushner said that US President Donald Trump is firmly determined to see an end to the Russian-Ukrainian war and focus on investing in business opportunities in Ukraine and the United States.<\/p>\n

The day before, September 5, the special envoys held talks in Moscow. Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov said that Putin told them he was confident of achieving the goals of the war. The White House described the talks as “substantive” and announced that the next steps would be unveiled in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

What is known about the talks involving Russia, Ukraine and U.S. representatives<\/p>\n

It should be recalled that US President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Moscow on September 5, where they were expected to present the Russian side with a proposal to end the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, talks between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US presidential representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner lasted more than three hours<\/a>. The Kremlin said the sides discussed ways to resolve the war against Ukraine, as well as possible Russian-US projects. The White House described the talks as “substantive.”<\/p>\n

U.S. President Donald Trump had previously said that his negotiators were traveling to Russia with proposals to end the war. At the same time, sources close to the Kremlin told Bloomberg<\/a> that the prospects for the meeting in Russia were “extremely low.” According to them, previous visits by US representatives had produced no significant results, so there was little reason to expect that they would bring proposals acceptable to the Russian side this time.<\/p>\n

As Rubryka reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Russia should halt its air strikes during the visit of the U.S. presidential special envoys to Ukraine, so that the US representatives could safely hold talks and resolve logistical issues related to the visit.<\/p>\n

On September 4, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that US-mediated talks on ending the war could resume as early as September.
