{"id":5075,"date":"2026-06-13T21:45:10","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T21:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ukraine\/5075\/"},"modified":"2026-06-13T21:45:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T21:45:10","slug":"lukashenko-says-ukraine-middle-east-wars-may-end-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ukraine\/5075\/","title":{"rendered":"Lukashenko Says Ukraine, Middle East Wars May End Soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alexander Lukashenko says conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East could end this year if a few key leaders choose to stop the wars.<\/p>\n<p>The conflicts in\u00a0Ukraine and the Middle East could come to\u00a0an\u00a0end as\u00a0early as\u00a0this year, with the outcome depending on\u00a0the decisions of\u00a0only a\u00a0few people, President of\u00a0Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said in\u00a0an\u00a0interview with Al-Arabiya. A\u00a0fragment of\u00a0the interview was published by\u00a0the Belarusian state news agency <a href=\"https:\/\/belta.by\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">BelTA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenko linked much of\u00a0the current global tension to\u00a0the human factor. He\u00a0said the wars were not predetermined from above, but resulted from people\u2019s\u00a0own actions\u00a0\u2014 and therefore it\u00a0is\u00a0people who must look for a\u00a0way to\u00a0stop them.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0the Belarusian leader, there is\u00a0now an\u00a0opportunity to\u00a0end the wars both in\u00a0the region around Belarus and in\u00a0the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenko separately addressed the situation involving Iran. He\u00a0said there is\u00a0effectively no\u00a0alternative left in\u00a0the Middle East except to\u00a0stop the war, and expressed hope that this could happen in\u00a0the near future.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0the same time, he\u00a0rejected the idea that the confrontation should be\u00a0viewed primarily as\u00a0a\u00a0conflict between the United States and Iran. In\u00a0his view, it\u00a0is\u00a0first of\u00a0all a\u00a0war between Israel and Iran, while the United States became involved because of\u00a0what he\u00a0described as\u00a0the short-sighted position of\u00a0certain American leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenko also said circumstances are now pushing the sides toward ending the conflict. He\u00a0believes US\u00a0President Donald Trump is\u00a0aiming for that result, adding that there is\u00a0no\u00a0other solution.
