Construction will start later this year on a dozen multi-million-dollar custom homes in Dallas’ Knox Henderson neighborhood.

Dallas-based SHM Architects and Dallas-based interior designer Studio Thomas James will design 12 custom homes at 4423 Cole Ave. Work will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Preconstruction pricing starts at around $4 million. Sales for the homes are represented exclusively by Kyle Richards, Cindi Caudle and Alli Caudle Bush of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.

The 12 homes are expected to average approximately 3,600 square feet, excluding the attached private garage, said Maria Cintron, a spokesperson for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.

The custom homes will replace a condominium complex, Somerset II. Dallas Central Appraisal District records show the complex was built in 1968.

The property was sold on July 18 to an entity called KDP Villas LLC, according to Dallas County deed records. KDP Villas listed address matches the offices of San Antonio-based Kairoi Residential. Attempts to contact Kairoi before publication were not immediately returned.

Renderings and the name of the new development will be released at a later date, Cintron said.
