Bronx detectives are looking for four men who shot a man multiple times in front of a home on Thursday night.
The victim managed to survive after taking six bullets during the shooting that occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 13 in front of 1040 East 219th St. in Williamsbridge.
Officers from the 47th Precinct rushed to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the incident. When they arrived, they found the victim, a 24-year-old man, shot multiple times in his body.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown and under investigation, police sources said Friday.

EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, it was reported Friday. Police sources said four male suspects wearing all-black clothing and having dark complexions were seen fleeing from the location in an unknown direction after the shots rang out.

Through Aug. 9, the 47th Precinct reported a 15% uptick in shootings year-to-date, with 23 incidents this year, up from 20 at the same point in 2025.
