Madurai: Members of the Tamil Nadu Medical and Sales Representatives Association (TNMSRA) urged the Centre to refrain from levying GST on medicines and medical equipment.The 31st state conference of TNMSRA was held in Madurai on Saturday. State president P Sathya Narayanan and general secretary G Vivekanandan were present.During the conference, members passed several resolutions urging the Centre to ban the sale of fake medicines and online sale of medicines. They sought minimum wages and the formulation of statutory working rules for the medical and sales representatives. They further sought safeguarding of the Sales Promotion Employees Act, 1976, and withdrawal of the four labour codes.
