Thousands of participants lined up outside Graceland, candles in hand, for the annual tradition of the candlelight vigil.
During Saturday night’s ceremony, visitors carry candles up the driveway to Elvis’s gravesite in the Meditation Garden in quiet remembrance.

No passes or wristbands are required; it’s a free event.
The gates stay open through the early morning hours of August 16, the day the King died.
