She’s been real busy, and although she knows y’all have been real busy, too, this Country music star still made time to stop by a local eatery before her show in the Texas Coastal Bend.

Ella Langley, the voice behind megahits “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her”, spent the weekend in the Lone Star State as part of The Dandelion Tour.  Despite this “Ella Fella” being disappointed she chose other cities over San Antonio to sing her chart topping songs to, I’m still glad she showed love to the namesake of her biggest hit. Her Texas stops led her to Corpus Christi on Friday, August 14, and the morning of the show, she decided to stop in to a local spot for some grub.

Corpus Christi restaurant 1983 Mexi-Cafe took to Facebook to thank the artist for choosin’ them for her brunch. “Huge thanks to @ellalangleymusic for stopping by to dine with us!” the restaurant posted. “We loved serving you some of the best flavors in Corpus Christi. We hope you had a great time here in Corpus & we are happy to have been a part of your time here!!”

As the comment section blew up with congrats and folks being happy she indulged at one of their favorite Tex-Mex spots, some asked what her order was. “Steak & sunny side eggs!” The restaurant responded. And man, that sounds pretty good right now. As for Langley, hours later she took the stage at the sold out Hilliard Center, the former American Bank Center.

Langley finished out her Texas weekend hitting up the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Saturday, August 15. She won’t be back in Texas until October 10 later this year, when she performs in Lubbock at the United Supermarkets Arena, at the home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Now how do we convince her to come to San Antonio? Asking for… well, me.
