She’s spent the better part of a year deflecting questions about plans for the big day, and now she’s giving fans their clearest window yet into how the ceremony actually felt from the inside.

Kylie briefly opened up about her excitement for the newlyweds. She told listeners, “I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trav. It was absolutely magical,” and added that she’s thrilled for the couple on the July 23 episode of her Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast.
She went on to explain that the wedding didn’t really change anything about how the Kelces already felt about Taylor. In her mind, the ceremony was less of a turning point and more of a formality, since Taylor had already become a true part of the family long before the vows were exchanged.

As for the finer details of the celebration, Kylie made clear that’s not her story to tell. She pointed fans back to the couple themselves, noting that anything else they want to share about the day is entirely up to them. The only other thing she’d offer up was a general impression: that the night felt intimate and full of love, both between Taylor and Travis and from everyone else in the room celebrating them.
This wasn’t Kylie’s first brief comment on the big day, either. Back on July 9, while attending the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe with Jason, she was characteristically short when asked about it, calling the whole thing “incredible,” according to People.
And, since Kylie’s comments on how magical the wedding was, she opened up again on the August 6 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. In the aftermath of Jason admitting he cried more at Travis’s wedding than his own, she shared her take on the matter.
Kylie admitted that tears were flowing from her eyes, too. She addressed the joke Jason had made about crying more at Travis’s wedding than his own. Then she said, “Obviously, my husband cried during our wedding. He did. I think that goes without being said because he’s cried a couple other places because he feels his emotions, okay.”
She got more serious and explained that their four daughters served as flower girls for Taylor and Travis, and stated, “It was very loving to see all of the things that were happening, but take this into consideration, because no one’s thinking about this, think about getting to watch your four daughters be flower girls. Okay? That’s all the information you get.”
Why Kylie’s comments feel like such a big deal

Kylie isn’t the only Kelce who’s had to reckon with the scale of attention that comes with Taylor Swift joining the family. Jason Kelce, appearing on the July 21 episode of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast, described how the shift in public interest around the family wasn’t gradual so much as it was a sudden and dramatic change once his brother’s relationship with Taylor became public knowledge.
Kylie herself is no stranger to balancing a busy family life with a growing public profile. She and Jason, married since 2018 according to Today, share four daughters, all of whom served as flower girls at the Madison Square Garden ceremony, as mentioned above. That gave the Kelce family an even more personal role in the day.

As speculation about the wedding date, venue, and guest list swirled online, plenty of Swifties took to social media themselves to ask others to back off, arguing that Taylor deserved to have her wedding day without worrying about details leaking out to the masses, reported AOL. Despite all of that careful planning, keeping every detail out of the spotlight seems like a big challenge, but they managed to do it.

For now, Kylie’s brief but heartfelt comments are touching for fans to hear. Whether she’ll share more once Jason and Travis’s New Heights podcast returns from its usual summer break remains to be seen. It’s certainly a day they want to protect.
