The Queens World Film Festival has screened more than 2,000 films from 135 nations and over 600 films from all five boroughs over the past 16 years.

In November, Queens World will host a film and arts festival celebrating the core freedoms of the First Amendment with a slate of performances and short films.

Katha Cato, the founding executive director of the Queens World Film Festival, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk more about the upcoming festival and other programs.
