Crews make quick work of kitchen fire in Sharon Hill

Numerous crews were dispatched for an apartment complex fire in Sharon Hill on Monday night.

The dispatch shortly after 9 p.m. was for the Spring Village Apartments at 601 Poplar St.

Volunteers got inside quickly and determined there was a small kitchen fire in a second floor flat, according to fire radio traffic.

The incident was quickly brought under control, with crews performing an overhaul, according to fire radio traffic.
