EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The Railroad Pedestrian Bridge in Phoenix Park will be closed for maintenance Aug. 20, 2026, beginning at 6 a.m.
According to the City of Eau Claire, pedestrians and bicyclists who use the bridge for leisure, exercise, or transportation will need to choose one of the alternate routes: the Madison Street Bridge to the north, the Phoenix Park Foot Bridge near Haymarket Plaza to the east, or the Grand Avenue pedestrian bridge to the south.
The bridge is expected to reopen in the late afternoon.
