Bellaire High School, Horn Elementary impacted by water main break
HOUSTON – The City of Bellaire experienced a temporary water outage following a water main break Tuesday morning.
The city says crews are working to fix the busted pipe on South Rice Avenue and Pines Street.

The water line break impacted Bellaire High School and Horn Elementary School, according to the Houston Independent School District. A caller told KPRC 2 that over 2,000 students and staff at Bellaire High School have no running water for bathroom breaks or washing hands.
Water was restored at Bellaire High School and Horn Elementary around 3:30 p.m., school officials said.
KPRC 2 is working to gather further information and will update as it becomes available.
