Five New York state troopers suspended during investigation

Five members of New York State Police Troop B are suspended as part of an ongoing investigation, agency officials said.

Troop B covers most of the North Country, including Franklin, Clinton, Essex and St. Lawrence counties.

Officials said the suspensions are related to an incident that occurred last October. Specifics were not provided when we reached out to the NYSP Troop B Public Information Officer.

“Five members of Troop B are currently suspended due to an ongoing administrative investigation process that involves an incident that occurred last October. Because this matter remains open and active, we cannot provide additional details,” the message from a New York State Police spokesperson read.
