Rory McIlroy has been one of DeChambeau’s most outspoken critics since the American swapped the PGA Tour for LIV Golf.
The Northern Irishman and the American are two of the biggest blockbuster stars in the professional game today, if not the biggest.
Rory McIlroy has 30 PGA Tour wins to his name, including six major championships, as well as 21 DP World Tour titles.

Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau has won nine PGA Tour titles, including two US Open championships, and five LIV Golf events.
McIlroy and DeChambeau have never seen eye-to-eye, but they are obviously both hugely appealing to fans and sponsors, for very different reasons.
How much money Bryson DeChambeau has earned since joining LIV
DeChambeau is an incredibly wealthy man.
He was already exceptionally rich while he was playing on the PGA Tour, but his move to LIV Golf took things to a whole new level for him.
Surprisingly, though, DeChambeau is only the fifth highest earner on LIV Golf since its inception in 2022.
The 32-year-old American has earned $61,018,905 including end of season bonuses since moving to LIV Golf in June 2022.

He obviously has plenty of lucrative sponsorship deals away from the golf course as well.
And let’s not forget the $120 million he was paid to join LIV Golf initially just over four years ago (Fox).

His contract with LIV Golf is set to expire at the end of this season, so he will be due another huge signing-on fee if he does commit to a new deal.
However, it won’t be as lucrative as it would have been, had Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund still been running the show beyond the end of the 2026 season.
How much Rory McIlroy has earned on the PGA Tour since June 2022
After DeChambeau’s final PGA Tour tournament at the Memorial in June 2022, McIlroy has earned a whopping $72,013,876, including FedEx Cup bonus payments.
So that’s just under $11 million more than DeChambeau has earned over the past four years.
McIlroy has earned more money than DeChambeau on the golf course, and his off-course sponsorship deals are also more lucrative.
According to Forbes, McIlroy has earned $50 million on sponsorship deals in 2026, while DeChambeau has raked in just $10 million.
So, throughout the four years that DeChambeau has been on LIV Golf, McIlroy’s off-course earnings have most likely eclipsed what the American was paid to join the Saudi-backed league in the first place.
Whatever they have both earned over the past four years, it’s fair to say that Rory McIlroy’s achievements on the golf course have been far superior to DeChambeau’s.
