ATP Queen’s Club Semifinal Predictions
Jack Draper vs Jiri Lehecka
Head-to-head: Draper 2-1 Lehecka
Jack Draper has endured a much tougher route to the semifinal than Jiri Lehecka. The Briton comfortably overcame Jenson Brooksby in his opener at Queen’s, but was then tested in close, three-set thrillers before overcoming both Alexei Popyrin and Brandon Nakashima. Lehecka, in contrast, did not drop a set in wins against Alex de Minaur, Gabriel Diallo, and Jacob Fearnley to reach the last four.
It has always felt like Lehecka’s game is a great fit for grass, and he has now shown that at the ATP Queen’s Club Championships. Draper, who won a title on grass last year in Stuttgart, will undoubtedly be a formidable opponent in front of his home fans. But the Czech is slightly favored to reach the final. His performance to beat de Minaur was arguably the best of the week, and he has remained at a high level. Although admirable, Draper’s lengthy efforts in his last two matches might catch up to him against someone of Lehecka’s quality.
Prediction: Lehecka in 3

Carlos Alcaraz vs Roberto Bautista Agut
Head-to-head: Alcaraz 2-0 Bautista Agut
Roberto Bautista Agut’s triumph against Holger Rune was more one-sided than the final 7-6 6-7 6-2 score suggests. He did not concede a break point and dominated the contest throughout with the 37-year-old Spaniard rolling back the years on his favourite surface. As increasingly often happens with him, Carlos Alcaraz has been winning without being at his best. That included a very lengthy 6-4 6-7 7-5 victory against Jaume Munar in the round of 16.
Despite Bautista Agut’s impressive level in London, it is hard to see any result here other than an Alcaraz win. The two-time Wimbledon winner will return better than Rune did and put more pressure on from the baseline with the Dane rather wayward. Bautista Agut also lacks the firepower required to trouble Alcaraz consistently on a grass court. The younger Spaniard needs to have a bad day to make an upset possible.
Prediction: Alcaraz in 2
