Scorching temperatures persist in Houston, more record heat expected

The scorching temperatures continue, Houston.

Tuesday’s Forecast:

Tuesday and Wednesday are the hottest days of the week, with temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s. We might not get to record highs this week but it will be just as hot as last week in the upper 90s.

The push of heat comes with high pressure moving over Texas.

High pressure begins to move west into Texas, turning up temperatures Tuesday and WednesdayRain Returns:

Once high pressure moves out of Texas, moisture returns, increasing rain chances late week into the weekend. Rain will start to increase on Thursday and will peak Saturday and Sunday with a 40% chance each day.
