Espresso martini and French 75 cocktails are now available as ready-to-drinks (RTDs) in guestrooms at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Nomad.

The bottled cocktails are a first-ever co-branded collaboration for the West Village-founded Italian restaurant, Via Carota, which launched their cocktail line in 2023.

The partnership “feels like two New York stories coming together,” according to Jody Williams, chef and cofounder of Via Carota Craft Cocktails. “We both care about how people feel when they’re being hosted [and] these bottled cocktails are our way of bringing that spirit into a different setting alongside a hotel that really gets craft and hospitality.”

The espresso martini and French 75 cocktails reimagine the traditional in-room beverage experiences as they are displayed in every category’s Honor Bar, which allows guests to discover them at their leisure. “Their exclusivity is part of what makes them so special since they’re available only at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad,” shares general manager, Rick Corcoran.

Below, Corcoran shares more about the thoughtful partnership and how he hopes guests engage with the craft cocktails during—and after—their stay.

“The Espresso Martini and French 75 are timeless classics that continue to resonate with today’s luxury traveler,” shares general manager Rick Corcoran.

Jillian Dara: What made you decide to work with Via Carota?

Rick Corcoran: Via Carota has long been regarded as one of New York City’s most celebrated dining destinations, and that same dedication to quality and craftsmanship is reflected in Via Carota Craft Cocktails. From the beginning, there was a natural alignment between our brands. We share a deep appreciation for thoughtful hospitality, exceptional ingredients, and creating memorable guest experiences. This being Via Carota Craft Cocktails’ first-ever branded hotel collaboration made the partnership especially meaningful, reflecting the mutual trust and shared values that made it such a natural fit.

JD: What made you decide to feature these two specific cocktails?

RC: The Espresso Martini and French 75 are timeless classics that continue to resonate with today’s luxury traveler. They each offer something distinct—the Espresso Martini is rich, refined, and perfect for an evening in, while the French 75 feels celebratory, elegant, and effortlessly sophisticated. Together, they complement the many occasions our guests experience during their stay, whether they’re preparing to explore New York City or simply enjoying a quiet moment in the comfort of their room.

JD: Why did you feel these cocktails were an important addition to the property’s F&B experiences?

RC: They offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a bar-quality cocktail with the ease and privacy of their guest room, while introducing an experience that is unique to The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. It’s another way we’re continuing to elevate every touchpoint of the guest journey.

JD: Why do you think it’s so important to offer this type of amenity for your guests?

RC: Beyond convenience, they reflect the level of care and attention to detail that defines luxury hospitality, creating memorable moments that guests can continue to enjoy long after their stay has ended. We also see them becoming a memorable takeaway for guests looking to bring home a piece of their New York experience or share it with friends and family.

JD: Aside from this new collaboration, how have the bar offerings at the hotel changed since opening?

RC: Guests are increasingly seeking experiences that are immersive, locally inspired, and rooted in craftsmanship. We’ve responded by continually refining our offerings across the property, from the cocktail program at Nubeluz to elevated in-room experiences like this collaboration. Our philosophy has always been to remain thoughtful, ensuring every addition feels intentional and enhances the overall guest experience.
