AHWATUKEE, AZ — As the five-year anniversary of a devastating Chandler strip mall explosion approaches, one of its survivors is turning his recovery journey into a fundraising effort for others.
In August 2021, a leak in a nearby gas line led to an explosion at a Chandler strip mall, injuring and severely burning four men. Glenn Jordan was among those hurt.
During his long recovery, Jordan found support through the Arizona Burn Foundation.
On Saturday, Jordan hosted a Pull Up Challenge at Hub Fitness in Ahwatukee to benefit the organization that helped him heal. You can watch more in the player above.
